The Game

Four lanes. Ten turns. No second chances.

Death Touch is a simultaneous-deploy card battler. Both players place cards face-down across four lanes, then watch every choice unfold at once — traits trigger, frontlines clash, and the dead pile up. Whoever controls the most lanes after ten turns walks away from the rot.

Unique Fighters

A growing roster of fighters from twitchy scouts to lane-eating juggernauts. Build a deck and earn unlocks as you level.

Layered Traits

Every card carries two traits — Striker, Sniper, Reaper, Captain, Griever and more — chaining into combos that turn whole lanes.

Quick Duels

Energy scales with the turn. Early plays set the board; late plays change everything. Every match runs in under five minutes.

Story Campaigns

Multiple factions, each with its own chapters and final encounters. Climb through Rot, Hydron, Morningstar, and Divider.

Fight against four deadly factions across four unique stories.

We're in alpha — and that means the roster is alive. We're blending AI-assisted and traditional art to find what hits, and we're letting our earliest players and community feedback shape every direction we take.

Origins

Built on a promise from 2023.

In September 2023 we launched the RIP TCG Pre-Access Vault Sale — a fast, violent, cinematic card game with 30,000 vaults reserved for the collectors who believed in it first. Built in Unity by a small team in Vancouver, RIP TCG laid the foundation for everything we wanted a card game to feel like.

Death Touch is the next step in making that promise real. The combat system, the painted roster, the trait-driven duels — every piece traces back to the world and ambition of RIP TCG. Vault holders, this one's still for you.

Roadmap

Here's where we're headed.

  1. NOW

    Early Access Alpha

    Closed playtesting with collectors and the Discord community. Every patch driven by what we hear back.

  2. Public Beta

    Open to all. Balance pass, expanded card pool, refined campaigns, and the foundation for online play.

  3. Card Pool Lock-In

    Roster finalized. The NFT framework activates and the card pool becomes immutable — collectables for keeps.

  4. Launch & Seasons

    Public launch, ranked play, seasonal drops, and new factions added to the rotation.

Collectables

Cards become collectable when they're ready.

Death Touch will support a framework for collectable NFT cards — but not yet. The cards stay mutable while the game is being tuned, balanced, and shaped by community playtesting. Once the roster has been battle-tested enough to lock in, the framework activates and the final card pool becomes immutable. No one ends up locked to a version we haven't perfected.

    New card concepts get drafted, illustrated, and dropped into the live build for the community to feel out.

  2. NOW

    Playtest

    The community runs them through real matches. Stats, traits, and pacing get tuned based on what actually plays.

  3. Visual Vote

    Players vote on the final art direction for each card from a curated set of options.

  4. Animated & On-Chain

    Locked in. The final art gets animated, the card is committed to the immutable pool, and minted as a permanent on-chain collectable.
